Psychic Readings

Coming from a family that valued intellectual and artistic pursuits, it was certainly not on my short (or long) list of viable career options, growing up. If you had told me then that I was going to be a psychic I would have looked at you as though you had three heads.

A series of events in my twenties pretty much forced me to realize that I should pay attention to the images and information that I “saw,” that it was helpful! It was an easy and natural step to go from paying attention for myself, to doing so for others.

I love my work. I get to talk to people about the most important thing in the world – their lives! It’s an honor and a privilege, and deeply satisfying.

For a period of time, I was fairly active in the public eye. I had a very, very popular show on AOL’s virtual auditorium, a joint venture between AOL and New Line, where I would do readings and answer questions for audience members. I was also featured in New York Magazine, the New York Times, the New Yorker, and on a host of radio and TV shows. I made (correct!) predictions about everything from Elections to the Super Bowl.

At the time, I thought I was going to change the way the world saw psychics and astrologers, but eventually, I started to feel like the Media-Entertainment system was changing me. So I stepped away from public interaction and the media - until around 2010, when I realized that YouTube gave me an opportunity to say what I thought was important.

Working one-on-one with people allows me to really help others in an immediate way, and gives me time to paint as well.

The Reading Process

The Astrological chart

I usually start by looking at your astrological chart which requires your date and preferably the time and place of birth. A lot can be seen knowing only the date, but the more accurate the information, the more accurately I can tell you from your chart.

The Natal Chart

I’ll then discuss your natal chart taking a look at what’s happening now astrologically and how that is affecting your chart – and therefore, you. From this, I’ll have a good sense of what you’re going through right now, how long it’s been going on, how long it’s likely to continue, and what the best way to move through it might be.

Psychic Reading & Tarot

At some point – when, exactly, varies from person to person – I’ll move away from the chart and start talking about what I “see” psychically. If the reading is in person, I might touch your hands. I might also do a reading with the tarot cards. I don’t always use the tarot; it depends whether or not it feels like that will provide helpful additional information.

Identifying How to Move Forward

What I see varies from person to person, of course, but it’s typical to see things about the important people and circumstances in your life, and there are likely to be clearer and more specific details about both and about the best way to approach and move through any difficulties.

What do you want me to talk about?

Although the reading starts out with me telling you about your life, at some point, it does become more of a dialog. After I’ve told you a certain amount of what I see, I’ll want you to let me know what you’d like me to talk more about.

How accurate are readings?

Results can never be 100% accurate, but they can help provide a better understanding of your metaphysical terrain and help you move through life and make sense of your spiritual path.

Do you need photos or information about other people?

You are welcome to bring photos, or to give me the astrological information about others whom you’d like to know about. At any point in the reading, you are free to ask me questions.

What if I can’t be there in person?

If we’re doing the reading over the phone, I can’t touch your hands! And yet, there is no difference in quality of the reading, from my perspective, in terms of how much and what I can or can’t see, whether I do the reading in person or remotely – over the phone, for example. In all honesty, I don’t know “why” this is the case, but it most definitely is. I will be able to describe people and situations in your life, just as I would be able to do if we were sitting next to each other.

How long does a reading last?

A reading is typically an hour, and a lot can be covered in that period of time. It’s important that you get the information that you need, information that helps you manage the situations in your life, and that empowers, grounds, and centers you.

What will I get out of it?

Most people experience a reading as very helpful, both validating and informative. It should empower you, and help you to feel that you understand what’s happening in your life (to the degree that it can be understood!) and that you are in a centered and grounded place for you to control, and to release (the attempt to) control over what is out of your control.

How do I prepare for a reading?

You don't really NEED to do anything to prepare. But it is a good thing (and a natural one, actually) to think about what you already know, or think you know, about your life, and what you need or want to know more about. Some people make lists of questions they want to ask/issues they want to be sure get addressed, but things that are important will organically come up, without you asking, and will be addressed.

What is the Natal Chart?

Your natal chart is like a map of who you are, your strengths and weaknesses, and of the characteristic issues that you find yourself facing again and again in life. Telescoped in there is information about your parents, your family of birth and your early life, as well as information about your friendships, relationships, and work.
