Sculptures
I’ve always been fascinated by totemistic objects, and with a wabi-sabi aesthetic, in which objects show the wear and tear of aging and decay.
The Dolls
Moving to San Francisco with a newborn, I no longer had a studio, and oil painting at home was smelly and impractical. I started making these “dolls,” then creating stories, “playing” with them, and photographing the results!
