I’ve been drawing and painting ever since I can remember, and it's profoundly important in my life. What I love about my Sanskrit paintings is that through them, I’m able to bring the transformative energy of Sanskrit into people’s lives, helping others progress on the path of enlightenment.
Yoga Sutras
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali are considered the primary philosophical and spiritual source for the practice of yoga. Composed of four books, or “padas,” with approximately 50 sutras per book, the nearly 200 yoga sutras describe the nature of yoga and the process and means of the practice of yoga. The resulting 51 paintings for Book One are not illustrations, they are the sutras, manifest as art.

The Shiva Mahimna Stotram, The Hymn to the Greatness of Shiva, is one of the most beautiful and transformative of all Sanskrit prayers. It is said to be supremely auspicious to recite, and almost equally auspicious simply to have around, pleasing Shiva, and bringing the greatest of blessings on every level: spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical.
