Sutra 1.51
Sutra 1.51
tasyāpi nirodhe sarva-nirodhān nirbījah samādhih
When even the habit pattern of truth-bearing wisdom has been restrained, then everything, all activity of the citta (mind-stuff), is restrained, and there is the experience of seedless samādhi.
This is it – the final sūtra of Book One. Eventually, even the truth-bearing wisdom that develops in the final stages of samādhiis wiped out. Now, we are irrevocably established in Yoga – the unadulterated state of samādhi, union with cosmic consciousness. The spiral leitmotif that first appeared in sūtra1.17 appears again in this final painting – but the center is blasted away.
