 Īśvara is the teacher of all teachers, past, present, and future. Since īśvara is unbounded by time, no matter when the teachings originate or how different they seem, īśvara is the source. The central image in the painting is inspired by a representation of the jostling action of quanta, which assume an overall symmetrical distribution in spite of the apparent randomness and diversity of their movement. A similar image occurs in Tantric art.
